  • We usually suggest between 2-4 weeks. In this time, you can use our toolkits to gather all the information we need to build your website, including professional photos (if applicable), website copy (if you are doing a Foundation or Enhanced website build), and your branding and logo materials. We need everything before we start your design. Delays may push back your design date and incur fees.

  • Absolutely. It’s $150 per hour + GST with a minimum of 2 hours.

  • Yes, we understand the importance of speed and performance. We’ll optimise your website using best practices to ensure fast loading times and optimal performance.

  • No, not as part of the website packages. We do offer an Email Marketing Package, which can be an additional add-on.

  • Yes, we can connect the email platform to your website. Depending on the platform, there may be limitations and additional costs for integration.

  • Absolutely! Ownership of the website is transferred to you after launch so you can make any minor changes - e.g., updates to pricing or copy. If you’d like more changes made by us, this will incur a $150 per hour + GST fee with a minimum of 2 hours.

  • Once we’ve finished the design of your website, you’ll need to sign up for a Squarespace plan through the website we’ve created. You’ll receive an invite to become a contributor to the website. If you haven’t already, you’ll be prompted to create a Squarespace login, and the website we’ve made should show up on your dashboard. Go to Settings, Site Availability, then Upgrade to Publish. Choose your plan and complete the checkout process.

  • You can’t transfer the membership/plan from one site to another. If you already have a Squarespace site, let us know and add us as a contributor to that website so we can redesign it. If your billing is due to expire soon, you can cancel it, and we can start a new one.

  • You’ll need a business plan (or above).

  • No, Squarespace includes hosting in its plan.

  • Yes, I recommend you purchasing your domain prior to commencing the website.

  • No. As long as you know your domain name is available or already bought it, you can tell us what it will be, and we’ll place it on the website contact page, etc. If you sign up for a Squarespace business plan, you’ll receive 12 months of free Google Workspace, which includes a custom email address. It’s about $10 per month thereafter. We recommend Google Workspace over Outlook for business email as you get the whole suite of programs and cloud storage.

  • No, you’ll need to get your Google domain validation code (search Google for instructions) and add it to your DNS settings before we connect your domain to the new website. If not done before we redirect your domain, your email access will stop.

  • Professional photos look amazing and can really enhance your website. If it’s not in your budget right now, that’s fine! We suggest at least 2 images of yourself or your team for the home and about pages. The rest we can source from royalty-free image providers.

  • At least two of you—one for the home page and one for the about page. Besides these, it helps to have photos for the services pages that demonstrate the work you've done. For example, if you’re a builder, photos of your completed projects will showcase your expertise and attract potential clients. However, if these photos aren’t high quality or don’t align with your colour branding and website design style, we may source from a royalty-free image provider.

  • Wear your business-branded clothing. Make sure they’re clean and professional-looking.

  • The One-Day Website does not include copywriting. We will provide you with a copywriting toolkit so you can craft your own copy. For the One-Week Website and Bespoke Website, we can create copy based on the information you’ve provided us. You are welcome to write it yourself or use a copywriter and supply it to us.

  • Squarespace directly integrates with Mailchimp for email marketing. However, it doesn’t offer direct integrations with other email marketing platforms and they may require a third-party service like Zapier or by embedding custom forms. This will require additional costs.

  • We offer ongoing support at $100 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. You can always reach out if you need help or have questions.

  • Yes, we can integrate your social media accounts with your website, including adding social media buttons and feeds.

  • Yes, all packages include a website handover.

  • Absolutely. All websites we design are mobile-responsive, ensuring they look great on all devices.

  • Yes, we understand cashflow can be tight. We require a 50% upfront payment and final payment due on completion. We can discuss a payment plan option for you based on your package.
